They're still here. This list will mostlikelyprobably grow.
When Grey cries, they are CONSTANTLY holding him and then complaining to us that he isn't sleeping. We tell them to put him down to sleep because he cries for 10 minutes or so and then falls asleep. My parents like to not listen to us and make things harder for themselves. I mean, he IS our child.. Shouldn't we know how to put him to bed more than them?
"You have to go to church every week to raise a good son and have a good family."
I'm pretty sure there are good sons and good families out there who don't go to a church every week.
My mom: "It's so nice to not prepare food this time."
Me: "No one asked you to do it [all those times]."
My mom: "Every mom does that. You're just selfish."
^ To clarify she usually takes over our kitchen and rearranges it to her liking...like she'll wash all the dishes by hand and dry them in the dishwasher and when she sees us loading the [empty] dishwasher with dirty dishes, she'll get mad and say she'll just do it, she uses a million and one paper towels so there are wet ones drying allllll across the counter, there's random food and containers and bags strewn across the counter as well and will get mad if I try to throw any of it away. She buys us tons of Korean food that we don't eat after and end up throwing away. She buys random kitchen gadgets that we don't need. All this stuff she buys, we never ask her to, we tell her "NONONO, we don't need it" but she still buys it and gets upset when we give/throw it away. She makes us food and complains that she's tired and sore but no one asked her to make anything and we have told her after every visit that we don't want her to do it anymore for her and our sakes. This trip is the FIRST TIME she hasn't done this but OF COURSE she still has to ruin it. Like YOU'RE A GUEST. STOP trying to take over my kitchen, STOP trying to take over my apartment. If you're wondering why I'm writing this here instead of telling her, I HAVE MANYMANYMANY TIMES. END RANT MAYBE!!!!!!!!!11
Edit: My mom brought Grey's podaegi (Korean baby wrap) to Chase's parents' house and accidentally left it there.
My mom: "You should've gotten it. It's your baby's."
Me: "I'm not the one who brought it and I told you not to."
My mom: "Then how am I supposed to carry him? Give me one of your pillowcases so I can cut it into a podaegi."
Me: "That's not my problem....and no."
